Changing Realms is a mechanic to super-exile, losing a lot of things that persisted through normal exiles and gain Memories in return. *You unlock the ability to change Realms after you reach e400 Mysteries.
You lose the following things while changing Realms:
- To gain new memories:
- All earned mysteries
- All enchanting dust (available and already invested into items)
- All catalyst shards
- All earned permanent spell casts, Hallowed Clicks (Total), Compressed Time (Total), and Liquid Shadows (Total)
- All Trial Milestones (Completed trials are reset and paragon locked, but Legacy progress remains)
- All Attributes gained
- All Paragon levels
- All God levels
You keep the following things:
- Previously earned Memories
- Market Items and Currencies:
- Renown levels
- Bathunter (Fafnir)
- Relics, Time Warps, and Get Mysteries
- Runes
- Alteration Sand
- Skins
- etc.
- Crafting dust
- Items (they keep their grade but become forgotten, to be unlocked once more through the Forge)
- Memetics (but they will be locked until the paragon levels are reached respectively)
- Uninvested memetic splinters
- Catalyst income levels will remain as invested
- Echo Trap max levels will remain invested, but their experience is reset
- Memetic Ingots are refunded, to be invested once again next realm
- All unlocks for classes and pets. (T2 classes, T2 and T3 pets need to be paragon unlocked)
- All finished Challenges (bonuses are witheld until the needed requirements to unlock each challenge are met again, if previously completed)
- Legacy level (and progress on later levels)
- Completed Achievements
- Expedition progress (but will be locked until the expeditions paragon is reached again)
- Gathering, Crafting, Praying, and Mentallizing levels (hidden until paragon unlocks are met)
