Void Memetics

Void Memetics are centered around Memetic Echoes, with notable similarities to Void Entities. Echoes appear over time in Echo Traps (default 1/hr) and — unlike Void Entities — persist indefinitely until collected. An Echo Trap can hold multiple Echoes, up to a cap (default 5; increased by Memetic Attractor). Once unlocked, the Memetics menu provides a toggle to switch views between Void Traps and Echo Traps on the main screen. Both will function regardless of which is currently displayed.

Each Echo Trap has its own Level, XP, Max Level, and Bonus. Collecting Echoes grants XP to the Trap it was collected from (base 5, increaseed by Reverberations Of the Past and increases by 1 for every 3 of trap's maximum level.). Enough XP will increase the Trap's level, in turn increasing the provided bonus. Echoes can be set to preferentially spawn in a particular Trap by clicking it in the Memetics menu. All Echo Trap stats are reset on Realm except max level, which can be increased with Splinters.

After collecting enough echoes to level an Echo Trap to it's maximum level, excess Echoes collected on that trap will increase trap efficiency. This is a % bonus to each Echo Trap's effect (spawn gets square root of the bonus). Each excess Echo is a small, additive increase increase in %, increased very slightly by the maximum level of the trap it was collected from.

The XP needed to reach the next level on a given trap is equal to:
