Triumphs are Realm-based Achievements, usually to reach a certain number of Mysteries under some restrictions. They become available after changing Realm for the first time. Completing one grants its Achievement and accompanying Upgrade (unlocked for all successive Realms).

Description

A failed Triumph

Hover over a Triumph's Achievement window to view its conditions and reward.

No action is needed to start a Triumph attempt. Multiple Triumphs can be attempted and completed concurrently within a single Realm simply by meeting their conditions. Violating a Triumph's restrictions fails that Triumph, preventing its completion for the duration of the Realm.

Triumph Guides

Most Triumph bonuses (with the exception of Shut In) are pretty small, and they add significant time to your realm at low memories. If a triumph takes longer than 1 day it is usually not worth the reward, many of the rewards are ~100% profit gains, some of the later rewards can be worth additional time since they are a lot more valuable.

Shut In (No expeditions to e400)

Should be one of your first two triumph achievements.

This triumph has the best reward and is not too hard as your first e400 mysteries will fly by in R1 compared to R0.

Pure Theory (No trials/experiments to e400)

Should be one of your first two triumph achievements.

Brain Fog (No heritage/paramnesic realm upgrades to e500)

Doable relatively early once you have a decent amount of legendary gear (probably from R3 onwards) and never really gets easier beyond that.

Rewards the Item Ritual Disk.pngRitual Disk mount.

Source Bias (Single source to e400)

You can buy a different type of source every exile, so you can switch classes. Classes that burst with lower sources (like mana gems, grimoires, etc, as opposed to nexuses or rifts) are normally better, as you get many more of the lower sources so you will lose less character experience.

Commando (No Summons to e700)

Chronomancer and Archon/Temporalist make this extremely easy.

Allergy (No pet to e400)

Druid and Exorcist don't lose very much compared to many other classes from pets so they're good options here.

Class-only Triumphs (to e500)

This refers to triumphs that restrict the classes you can use on your way to e500 mysteries. You cannot use their corresponding T2 class while attempting this type of triumph.

This type of triumph is generally next in difficulty. Because there are so many of these and you can only do one per realm, you should aim to do these as soon as they don't feel painful. Once you progress more, you can start combining class Triumphs with easier Triumphs like Pure Theory and Source Bias.

No Incantations/No Evocations (to e600/e700 respectively)

Necro/Druid/Shaman are best for these.

Eternal Student (Apprentice only to e300)

This will take a significant amount of edust, and you'll likely have to do an edust phase before getting enchanting membrane so your edust experimenting will be less effective. Can be combined with a t1 class triumph (like play only demonologist/ironsoul) as you can do that after finishing apprentice easily. With high e6/e7 mems and near 35+5 enchants, it is possible to take Apprentice to e500 and complete all the t1 class triumphs at once, but you could have easily gotten them all by then anyway.

No Skills Issue (no attributes to e400)

Items that require no AP include Gemshoes, Morbid Loop, Architectural Data Belt, Temp Scabbard, offhands, weapons, research items, trophies, and Mini Accelerator/Light of the Seventh Star (depending on your class/catalysts). Enchanting these will help a lot, although you won't be able to use Resonator Ring to boost Enchanting Membrane (unless you can get your int up enough with Geode or Ley Keeper). You can still use the +5 AP buff and the +10 AP from Innate Aptitude memories. This isn't enough to equip any additional items by itself, but with Geode or Ley Keeper this is enough to equip some items. Doing it with just items that require no AP to equip is viable too, would suggest going with Chrono/Zombie until it slows down and then Archon.

Quick And Silver (3 days to get to e900)

You eventually get this for free by just doing normal realms.

Rewards the Item Nulldragon, The Anomaly.pngNulldragon, The Anomaly mount.

Clothes Slow Me Down (no items to e400)

This is one of the hardest Triumphs. If you don't want to have a terrible time, you should have multiple e6 memories before you attempt it.
