Quasi-Realm Rules
In Redemption, there are two big changes to how you play:
- "All traps are unavailable" - both the void entity traps, and void echo traps. So Voidmancer's character ability will always be 0, and all Void Echo related upgrades will be useless. Before starting this quasi-realm, reallocate your Delusions away from Echo Chamber. It's normally a really valuable upgrade, but wasting up to 10 points on it will hurt a lot.
- If you now have spare points, consider instead putting them into Unrealistic Expectations (pet ability power), Illusionary Premonition (mysteries power), or Imaginary Talents (higher attribute cap).
- "Void mana per entity increased based on critical profit" - this effect makes critical profit a bigger contributor to VM than VM-per-entity effects. For example, 9e38 critical profit grants 5e46 VM-per-entity. The extra spells you get from Exorcist all boost critical profit in some way. And this means your VM sets will primarily be critical profit based instead of the usual Nether gear.
Attributes
Your profit will be from the autoclicks of Spirit Of Valor. So Dominance is your primary attribute for profit. Your character ability won't do anything, because it requires uncollected Void Entities, and the realm's rule prevents that. So Mastery is used only for Collar Of Obedience when levelling pets, plus eventually the 250 perk. Spellcraft is used for gear, perks, and to improve Void Syphon but that has minimal benefits.
Endgame stats:
- Intelligence 250+10
- Insight 250+10
- Spellcraft 240+10
- Wisdom 240+10
- Dominance 250+10
- Patience 250+10
- Mastery 240+10
- Empathy 250+10
Enchanting Dust
This Quasi-Realm has extremely high enchanting dust scaling in both the burst and VM sets, which are equal in enchanting importance. Critical profit enchants provide more void mana than VM-per-entity enchants, so you'll use very little of the typical VM gear.
Plan to enter the realm with a good stash of blue dust, and ensure you maximize your enchanting dust experiments in all the usual ways.
Notes on pets
Because you don't get Hallowed Clicks, Voidlight Amalgam won't provide much VM with its ability. So you'll still collect VM with Voidterror, even after unlocking T3 pets. However, its void profit is much higher than Voidterror, so you'll switch to VLA before the final burst.
Phases
A typical run consists of
- Spell Stacking phase
- Pet Levelling phase
- Void Mana Phase
- Quick Burst Phase to get upgrades and sources.
- Void Mana Phase
- Burst Phase
Due to some changes in spells (mainly the Conjure spells) and equipment being added (Summon Division Equipment) the guide has been updated
Phase 1: Void Mana Maximization
We do this so we have a headstart on increasing Summon Winged Night's ACs as it gets increased by Void Mana. You want as much auto Clicks to boost Recaller Stone.
1a. Void Terror leveling
|
1b. Void Mana Buildup
|
Phase 2: LK leveling
This is simply to boost Hectic Lime's and Recaller Stone's Dividing Summon properties. The summon based enchants will give a little bit of a boost for Conjure Primal Elemental. As we are using all summons, Shadow-Scryer's Crystal Ball is not needed.
|
Phase 3: Spell Buildup
3a. Relatively short part of the Scry phase, it's to insure you get some autoclicks to boost up Recaller while Conjure Primal Elemental and Conjure Void are building.
|
3b. Your main stacking phase, once you have enough summon division from Recaller Stone and hectic Lime this will be where you'll spend most of your exile doing.
|
You'll want to alternate between Phase 2 and Phase 3b to get more level reduction as needed from Hectic Lime.
Phase 4: Void Mana Maximization
Remember to switch the weapon Shard of a lost Dimension for Head of the All Eater to increase it's profits, then build your Void Mana again.
4a. Void Terror Leveling
|
4b. Void Mana Buildup
|
Phase 5: Snap Phase
If you are bursting on VLA you can use the set that levels up ley Keeper to level up VLA.
|
Phase 6: Burst Phase
|
Source Memetics
Use the same as Heretic, but without character ability power on Alchemy Desks. Incantation, Pet Ability Power, and Autoclick Profit should get almost all of the ingots. Summoning Efficiency can have what's left, and evocation what's left after that.
- Mana Gem: Production gild
- Grimoire: N/A
- Spell Fountain: Summoning (excess ingots only)
- Enchanted Trees: Evocation (excess excess ingots only)
- Alchemy Desk: N/A
- Circle of Power: Pet Ability Power
- Voidgate: Autoclick Profit
- Nexus: Incantation
Spell Memes
As usual, balancing and optimizing spell memetics can be complicated. I'm lazy so I like to overlevel the shard pool a bit and basically spread the ink evenly across any useful spells. A basic starting point:
Depending on how many ingots you have
- Level ~20-27 shard pool
- Level ~25-35 for burst and VM spells:
- Level ~10-20 for spells that boost character exp:
- Void Entities: Void Syphon
- Autoclicks: Summon Winged Night, Conjure Manabeast,
- Autoclicks and Pet Experience:Conjure Primal Elemental
