A creature made manifest by humanity's fears. While normally feeding on dreams and nightmares, brought to reality it consumes spell shards instead.

Description

Increases Mysteries power based on pet experience and pet level.

Periodically consumes shards from ALL active spells, depending on the average value of passive shards generation, to gain experience.

Doesn't work offline.

While this nightmarish creature can massively increase your mana output, it makes spell casting much harder. Nevertheless, the Arcanist can make fairly good use of it, just do not forget to maximize your scroll charges before summoning this pet.

Sustaining spell casting in the face of a Devourer requires the use of shard-generating spells like Spell Focus and/or multiple Autoclick spells.
