Strategy

Pet exp gear and Empathy's Pet exp perk do nothing for you here. So look for gear and attributes that help you earn mana or level your Umbramancer faster. Flash Fire is the fastest charging Umbra spell, and pet exp here is based on spell casts and upgrades purchased, not amount of charging the spell needed.

Aside from above another "Same but different" Guide:

Attribute priority: 50/150/150/70/75/0/50 (may ignore Mastery and put points elsewhere) whatever boost production.

~670 upgrades purchased or more

At first ignore idle mode, do some combos, gain mana and buy sources/upgrades.

Condensing Shadows/ Dancing Flames / Critical Mass / Onyx Hound  - all on reckless

That way 1 Shadow Trap grants 0,1e5 ~ 0,15e5 Liquid Shadows

Click every few seconds not to activate idle mode for the next few hours.

After stacking some LS depends on Active / Idle play, preferably up to 4e6 put Flash Fire on reckless too. Keep clicking and wait for Homecoming.

Active play style can finish it in 1h 30 minutes.

For Idle / AFK play style - get an autoclicker clicking on orb while game window is on top. Put Condensing Shadows/ Dancing Flames / Critical Mass / Onyx Hound all on reckless. Go see a movie or something.. in 2h you should have 4e6 Liquid Shadow, put Flash Fire on reckless while still autoclicking and wait for Homecoming.
