Strategy
Note*
- You need have an Apprentice level 50~51 without any Sources activated in order to jump to level 90 when all sources are bought (as a reference point)
Collect as much Experience as you can through:
- Collecting Void Entities
- Casting Spells
- Manual/Auto clicking the Orb
- Buying Sources & Upgrades
You can use the Devourer's ability, to make Mystery Profit, as an advantage - Fight through Devo to make it do work for you, by making Mana easier to get when buying sources. This will still take some time.

- 25 Insight
- ~100 Wisdom
- Note that you won't be able to cast may spells the further along you go with more Wisdom, but Devo will level up faster & give more bonuses
- ~Patience
Tips
- Earlier challenges that increase your character XP from actions are naturally quite helpful. If you're struggling and have some of those outstanding, do them first.
- An auto-clicker is your best friend here, to speed up manual orb clicks and to rapidly "burst" and buy out sources.
- Remember that the "B" key attempts to buy all upgrades. Once an upgrade is bought, the Devourer can't take it away.
- Don't try to auto-cast too many spells at once. The Devourer still eats shards like normal. Pick one spell, or two if you can manage it once you've plenty of upgrades, and make do with those.
- If you can burst up to level 85-ish (depending on your exact stat point allocation and level-reduction upgrade count), try to quickly put Synthetic Entity into your spell bar. Once it's there, it will work normally regardless of your level; and as a charge spell, it doesn't need shards. This will give you "free" spell casts, extra void mana, and extra void entities for character XP, without fighting your other spell slots for shards.
